PONTES Network
The PONTES Network is a network covering various areas of education and it is supported by many independent organisations, institutions, groupings and associations, which in the broadest sense aim to develop a cross-border educational infrastructure geared to the promotion of lifelong learning and to strengthen a successful regional development in the Eurorgion Neisse-Nisa-Nysa.
Co-operation is based on the "
Grundsatzpapier zur nachhaltigen Fortführung der PONTES-Netzwerkarbeit ab Mai 2007". (The statement of principles for a sustainable continuation of the PONTES networking from May 2007) agreed by the network plenary meeting.
The statement of principles describes:
- the self-conception of the PONTES network,
- tasks, aims and target groups of the PONTES networking,
- the organisation of the PONTES-network,
- integration principles and
- basic rules of co-operation in the PONTES network and
- quality standards
The contribution rules and the achievement catalogue of the 
PONTES-Agency establish a basis for financial safeguard of the basic functions of networking.
The statement of principles provides a basis for conscious decision for an active membership in the PONTES network.
