Aims
All phases of life long learning – starting with education in early childhood and ending with adult education – as well as education while working, having a family, in one’s free time etc., but also transitions like day-care centre – school, school – training, training – job, unemployment – job, job – retirement should be possible for everyone. To achieve that, the educational areas should be interlinked more closely and that calls for an innovative, transparent educational management.
Basis
The education landscape in the Administrative District is extensive and diverse – from “classic” educational institutions like day-care centres, (music) schools, training and higher education centres via senior citizen’s academies, cultural institutions, associations and initiatives, projects through to E-Learning offers. A close cooperation of all contributors in the field of education is indispensable to ensure the success of the project. This particularly includes the inter-ministry cooperation in the sector of municipal administrations.
Realization
The starting point is a reliable data due to the Educational monitoring to develop controlling instruments for the regional educational management and to implement precisely fitting measures together with the contributors on the spot. The primary focus is the improvement of educational transitions. As a first step they should be tested on a model basis at the special emphasis of Energy Education and Euroregional Competence/ Language of a Neighbouring Country. Further points of emphasis are the development of a neutral Educational Consultancy as well as the Educational Marketing suitable for the group for lifelong learning.
