Procedure
1.The basis is the collection survey that pursues the question “What kind of (educational) information centres exist already in the Administrative District Görlitz?
The compiled results will be visualized on the online portal in the form of a “(Educational) Consultation map” for inhabitants, employees in the administrative sectors and institutions and for (future) educational counsellors of the Administrative District. The results will be made available in a user-friendly manner by the help of search criteria like:
- Consulting requires
- Target groups
- Places …
We are currently working with authorities, educational institutions and other information centres to identify the “nodal points”.
2.Educational Consultancy is a complex task and makes high demands on the counsellors to perform competent Educational Consultancy. What are the qualifications and competences the counsellors should possess? Requirements profiles and quality standards will be developed and if necessary the need of training will be deduced. This includes the dealing with instruments that help to determine the competence (approach „what am I able to do” instead of „what have I done”).
3.Neutral, cross-departmental information centres will be established in the Administrative District and connected successfully with the existing advisory services. The results from the above-mentioned points support this. During this whole process the cooperation with “education experts” is near and dear to us to develop and implement practice-oriented approaches and solutions. This exchange takes place in the „workshop educational consultancy”.
