The objective of this project is to encourage young women in the region of Upper Lusatia-Lower Silesia to use their skills and talents in various ways and to find in professional orientation new opportunities and prospects for example in the technical or industrial sector.

On the other hand IMPULS FEMININ also wants to make a contribution to improving the education atmosphere in the PONTES region and to increase the sensibility of companies and prospective employers regarding girls and young women as competent and qualified workers.

Against the background of the difficult situation on both the vocational training and the job markets in the region as well as the therewith related migration of young women, the IMPULS FEMININ undertakes to further the cause of this target group and to support regional development.

To achieve this aim it is necessary to co-operate with players on various areas of professional orientation and to set up a network supported by many organisations. Furthermore, the available offers are being evaluated and refined on the basis of everyday procedures to be integrated into a system targeted at continuing professional orientation for girls living in this region.
