Development of Euroregional Competency
Initial situation
The Euroregion Neisse-Nisa-Nysa offers due to its specific geographical location in the border triangle Germany-Poland-Czech Republic and its historical development a unique „learning location“ to acquire key qualifications .
"Euroregional competency" describes the synthesis of adjacent knowledge, cross-cultural competencies and development of common Euroregional identity, which finally enables successful work in the cross-border market and the labour market of the Euroregion and opens therewith new future prospects for that region and its inhabitants.
Aim
Development of the Euroregion to a unique cross-border education area with specific to the Euroregion educational offerings to promote Euroregional competencies of native people.
Issues
- Supporting multilingualism, especially neighbouring languages: German, Polish, Sorbian and Czech
- Supporting the cross-border educational co-operation
- Establishment of curricula specific to the Euroregion
- Provision of teaching and learning materials specific to the Euroregion and the qualification of lecturers
