Workshop “Euroregional Competencies within Professional Education”
The workshop "Euroregional Competencies within Professional Education" of the PONTES network develops a modular learning programme for the imparting of Euroregional competencies which will be necessary for the international economy and labour market in the Euroregion Neisse-Nisa-Nysa. Based on the work of the workshop "Development of Euroregional Competencies and Neighbouring Language", the term Euroregional competencies comprises the pooling of information literacy/ knowledge about the neighbour, competencies in the neighbouring language, intercultural competencies and professional skills.
These four sub-competencies serve as an orientation. The modular learning programme will be designed modularly as a "modular construction system" so that it can be individually customised, or rather used individually for several target groups:
- within the professional further training of students/ trainees/ recommenders/ trainee teachers/ entrepreneurs etc. or
- as part of the training within the professional training.
Besides language courses (Czech, Polish, Sorbian) of the level A1 to B2 of the European Frame of Reference, business language courses, events related to regional studies and European policy, the single modules are also to be comprised of intercultural seminars and workshops as well as professionally relevant courses in the labour market and the social and legal system of the neighbouring country. We are looking for additional educational institutions, primarily from the ERNNN, for the further development and arrangement of the single modules of the modular learning programme Euroregional competency.
The results concerning the modular learning programme will be discussed and refined on the next workshop meeting "Euroregional Competencies within the Professional Education". The next meetings will take place on:
