“Award of the Euroregion Neisse-Nisa-Nysa 2008“ for “Learn and Play – Overcome Limits“- Project
On the evening of 16 October 2008, the PONTES sub-project "Learn and Play – Overcome Limits" was awarded with the "Award of the Euroregion Neisse-Nisa-Nysa 2008" in the category "Education" during a gala in Česká Lίpa. It was able to win out over 19 projects by the trinational jury.
The German-Polish-Sorbian-Czech editorial team consisting of teachers and experts of the four language areas of the Euroregion applied for this award. Over the past few years, they had developed and worked together with the PONTES agency on this quadrilingual educational game "Treasure Hunt" about the Euroregion and its languages.
In place of the awarded partners, the representatives of the trinational editorial team Daniela Heelemanowa (Witaj language centre of the Sorbian DOMOWINA), Anna Bláhová (Czech Republic), Natalia Niechwiedowicz (Poland), Heike Schöbel and Dr Regina Gellrich (PONTES) received the award from the presidents of the Euroregion.
Mr G. Watterott, CEO of the EUROREGION NEISSE e. V. (registered society) in Zittau took the opportunity to be one of the first people to congratulate the award winners.
