!!! Registration deadline is June 30, 2010 !!!
If you work in an educational institution, an association, a company or an institution in the German-Polish-Czech triangle, then we would like to invite you to participate actively in the VII Euroregional “Learning Festival” (LernFEST).
The “Learning Festival” (LernFEST) takes place on Sunday, September 12, 2010 in Zittau. As a tri-national highlight the Euroregional “Learning Festival” offers many opportunities for participation on all aspects of “learning”: Create an interesting information booth for young and old people to participate along the Learning Festival Mile, take part in the tri-national cultural program or try out new ideas! There are no limits to the creativity of the activities for children, youths and grown-ups.

The VII Euroregional “Learning Festival” (LernFEST) will receive new incentives due to the connection with the European Heritage Days. Thus learning islands should be created around the interesting monuments in the town centre of Zittau and linked to an attractive “Learning Festival-Mile”.
The “Learning Festival” is the third of its kind in Zittau and it is organised by the PONTES Agency / Service Point Education of the District Görlitz in cooperation with the city Zittau and further project partners like Liberecká občanská společnost (LOS) [Liberec Civil Society], the tri-national urban network “Kleines Dreieck” [“Little triangle”] Bogatynia – Hradek n.N – Zittau, the Municipal Museum in Zittau, the Network Cultural Education, the Hillersche Villa e.V., Kultur- und Weiterbildungsgesellschaft mbH [Culture and Advanced Education Institute WLL], and the Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft in Zittau mbH, and subsidised by Sparkasse Oberlausitz-Niederschlesien.
The organisers are looking forward, together with many actors from the Euroregion Neisse-Nisa-Nysa to create an interesting “Learning Festival” LernFest 2010, where German, Polish and Czech visitors can discover, marvel at and try out ingenious things.
Registration documents available in three languages and current information are given in the right column.
Please, pass on this invitation also to your partners and within your networks in Germany, Poland and Czech Republic!
The stage on the Klosterplatz was very well attended and offered a varied programme, e. g. music and dance, karate and acrobatics, puppet theatre and musical and much more. The highlights on stage were also the presentation of prizes for TRIOLA winners and the award ceremony of the "1st Sächsischen Bohemiade" (Saxon language "Olympics" for pupils in the subject Czech language).
Our PONTES agency is glad that many German, Polish and Czech guests accepted this year’s offers of the learning festival with lots of curiosity and thirst of knowledge and rewarded the actors on the stage with loud applause and cheering.
We would like to thank all of the institutions involved which contributed with their large commitment to the success of the 6th Euroregional learning festival.
