Network Women and Politics
On the 2nd of May 2007 the work group „women and politics“ (director: Dr Regine Schneider – editor of the MDR Figaro) was constituted on the event „equal opportunities for men and women – a fair chance?”. A total of 21 participants ranging from local politicians, societies, associations to managers were in the work group.

- How can women be motivated to get politically involved?
- How can we remove bars in order to enable the decision for a career in politics?
- What do possible forms of cooperation look like?
