Euroregional Girls´Day
For the third time already, the cross-border educational network PONTES arranged the Euroregional Girls´ Day in collaboration with local partners from the administrative district Görlitz.
From April 22nd until April 24th 2009 German, Polish and – for the first time - also Czech schoolgirls could discover future-oriented, scientific and technical occupational fields in companies and educational institutions of the Euroregion Neisse – Nisa – Nysa on a journey together, deal with the topic of occupational orientation and become acquainted with female role models in leading positions.

The Euroregional Girls´Day is a joint event, organised by the administrative district Görlitz, the Saxon Education Agency with their regional office in Bautzen, the JOBSTARTER project “TRANSREGIO PRO JOB”, the project “Future for Upper Lusatia – making career at Germany’s beginning” and the PONTES agency.
