You will reach the PONTES-Agency with its headquarters at the border triangle of the Euroregion Neisse-Nisa-Nysa in the midst of the historical Cistercian monastery in St. Marienthal and the International Meeting Centre in St. Marienthal (Internationales Begegnungszentrum St.Marienthal) as follows:
Deutsche Bahn (German Railways) and Lausitzbahn
With the Deutsche Bahn or the Lausitzbahn from Berlin to Görlitz, journey time about 180 minutes or with the Deutsche Bahn from Dresden to Görlitz, journey time approx. 90 minutes; then from Görlitz with the Lausitzbahn towards Zittau to Ostritz/Krzewina Zgorzelecka, journey time approx. 25 minutes. The railway station is on the Polish side. Please note that there is a border crossing. Do not forget your identity card!
Taxi
At the railway station in Görlitz taxis are always at your disposal. The fare to St. Marienthal is about 25 €. The taxi ride form the railway station Ostritz/Krzewina Zgorzelecka to the monastery in St. Marienthal costs about 8 € (registration necessary: Taxi Scholze Phone.: +49 (0) 35823 / 86-261 or Taxi Gericke Tel.: +49 (0) 35823 / 86-633).
Short-distance public transport (NVG und KVG)
From Görlitz (railway station) or Zittau (railway station) with the bus number 21 towards Zittau/Görlitz to Ostritz-St. Marienthal, journey time approx. 30 minutes; on foot to the monastery approx. 5 minutes.
Travelling by car or coach
Autobahn (motorway) A4 via Dresden to Görlitz, in Görlitz towards Zittau, take the federal road B99 to Ostritz, from there follow the information signs to St. Marienthal. Please note: last place to park is on the car park close to the B99. Please schedule a five minute walk!
From Poland: border crossing points Zgorzelec/Görlitz or Ludwigsdorf (A4); Radomierzyce/Hagenwerder or Bogatynia/Zittau.
From the Czech Republic: border crossing point Varnsdorf/Seifhennersdorf or Hradek n.N./Bogatynia/Zittau.
